Widening access in St Albans

The Hörmann Rollmatic 2 completed this project in St Albans on a high-end residential build, giving the homeowner the additional drive-through width they wanted and easy access to store their sports cars safely.

Eastern Garage Doors’, Technical Sales Consultant, Charlie Holmes visited the property and conducted a thorough survey to make sure the garage structure, consisting of a recently completed conversion from two small up and over garage doors into one 5-meter opening was suitable for this type of product.

After discussing various options with the client, The Hörmann Rollmatic 2 was chosen as a space saving solution with built-in anti-scuff resistance.

Central to this is a reliable ‘Durabelt’ system which provides cushioning as the door curtain rolls up, and in doing so, it helps to significantly reduce the risk of marking or scratching – a big advantage when darker colours are chosen.

The RollMatic 2 can be provided with either internal or external roller options. It is available in heights from 1600 to 3100mm and widths from 1000mm to 6000mm, and automatically opens using secure Bluetooth automation via a smart phone.

Offered in Traffic white and 13 RAL colours as well as Chartwell green and Anthracite metallic, the RollMatic 2 is also available in two Decopaint and Decograin timber designs providing homeowners with ample choice to match the architectural style of their home.
