The versatility of bifold.

We offer various forms of opening mechanisms. Though similar in look, when closed, the differences are primarily regarding how the doors operate and the position of the door panels when open. We supply and fit hinged versions which slide and fold along a track in a zigzag motion, as well as slide and stack systems that allow the panels to slide individually along a track before stacking neatly to one side. Flexibility is also provided for configurations that need to go around the corner of a house. Floating corner designs enable you to extend your door without the framework hindering your view. Plus, fixed corner options are available. In addition, the versatility of bifold doors can be seen in other applications. As a unique alternative, our portfolio includes bifold garage doors. Instead of rolling up or sliding horizontally, they fold in vertical sections and are a consideration for multi-purpose use garages, because they can effortlessly slide open sideways and are well suited to larger openings.

What design options are available?

They can be made to order in the exact colour, size, and finish you’re looking for. A multitude of design choices can be made to measure, regarding glazing, integral blinds, cills, thresholds, locks, handles, and door leaf configuration.

Can bifold doors go around corners?

Yes. Dependent on your product choice, floating corner posts or fixed corner posts can be incorporated into the configuration.

How many panes do I need?

The minimum is two panes, however wider vistas can be catered for from 3 up to 14.

Are bifold doors a standard size?

Yes, typically a maximum door leaf height is 3 m with a width of 1.2 m. However, custom sizes can be made to fit specific requirements.
