Similar to roller garage doors, these space saving overhead garage doors operate vertically, which allows you to open and close the door with ease, even when cars are parked close by. This makes them especially well suited to short driveways or spaces where there’s limited access.
Safe operation is supported by great features including sensors which can automatically retract a door if there is an obstruction in the way such as a car bonnet or a child standing in the garage opening. On some models, patented tension spring technology reliably secures the door leaf from falling and prevents a broken spring from flying out and causing injury. Torsion spring technology on certain designs also operates as a safety device to stop the door travel immediately in the event of a breakage, thereby preventing the door leaf from falling.
We have various options in steel section, with aluminium and timber also available. Timber provides an extra aesthetic dimension across a variety of different wood types, including cedar, idigbo, Accoya, and oak.
