The BASCULAP series is perfect for individuals who need a high-quality insulated up and over garage door. It features a user-friendly counterweight mechanism for quiet, self-lifting opening and closing. The door is constructed with 40mm thick insulated panels made of galvanised sheet steel, which includes an internal polyurethane foam (CFC Free) interior. This design produces a thermal insulation value of 0.48 W/m2k. Additionally, the door is equipped with a tightly sealed perimeter gasket system to enhance its insulating capabilities.

Hidden Automation

Every BASCULAP is ready for automation. The motor is cleverly concealed within the upper frame’s cross-section, eliminating the need for unsightly ceiling tracks, and ensuring that the clear height passage remains clear. This unique system allows smooth opening and closing of large doors (up to 6.5 meters in dimension) without requiring additional side operators, extra electrical wiring, or additional maintenance.

The cutting-edge safety mechanism represents a safety system meticulously conceived, crafted, manufactured, and patented by SILVELOX. Its primary purpose is to prevent potential collisions or compression involving objects or individuals while the BASCULAP door is in automated motion.

Pedestrian Door

For easy access, a pedestrian door can be fitted in the centre of the leaf. It is available with 3-point locking and concealed hinges for additional anti-intrusion security.

The door handles are also unique. Crafted from die-cast aluminium they can provide a custom detail to your garage door. For example, the same finish can be used to match the garage and entrance door. Options include, RAL colours, wood grain, and a hand painted Silvelox Silk effect (seen below). This exclusive and patented design is seamlessly integrated to create a flush appearance which can support your unique styling request. When it comes to the ease of use of the garage door handle, it incorporates advanced mechanisms for smooth and efficient operation and effortless turning.

The pedestrian door is available with:

3 closing points for additional anti intrusion security
The frame coplanar to the panel
Matching wood-like or RAL frame with the door interior and exterior
