Here at Eastern Garage Doors we specialise in a range of different varieties of garage door, and we have noticed that, amongst our customers, up-and-over garage doors are the most popular of these varieties. One particular benefit of our up-and-over doors is that we’re able to provide them in virtually any material, including timber, UPVC and GRP, while the incredibly easy to use mechanism is also an appealing feature. What's more, there are no issues with obstruction as the doors simply lift up and push back into the roof space – allowing you to make as much of your garage as possible.
The first of the two types of up and over garage door we offer here at Eastern Garage Doors is the Canopy garage door. These doors lift up and slide back into the roof space to ensure minimum obstruction, with a smaller section of the door overhanging to create a 'canopy' over the entrance. This is ideal for keeping valuable contents protected from the elements when the door is open.
Retractable garage doors also lift up and slide back into the roof space, but leave no overhang. The entirety of the door retracts and is concealed in the garage's roof. Their versatility makes them suitable for any garage entrance that measures 8 feet or more but doesn't interfere with the space you have for driving through. These fully retractable doors are strong, durable and perfectly suited for adapting to automated operation.
